"Helping children with special needs in central Ohio"

Our Story

In May 2008, a volunteer “task force” was organized by a nucleus group of members of The Country Club at Muirfield Village. Their objective was to raise money to financially assist a staff member's son who was born with severe Down Syndrome. The response and generosity of fellow club members was truly overwhelming!

An immediate need was evident to evolve from a "task force" to a 501 (C) (3) non-profit. A 501 (C) (3) application was filed and subsequently approved January 12, 2009.  Thus, The Country Club at Muirfield Village Foundation (TCCMV Foundation) was officially established.

As a Foundation, we were able to broaden the scope of financial assistance to include children with a wide variety of special needs.  The focus of our foundation is centered on organizations which provide services for special needs children within the Dublin community and Central Ohio; and reflects our on-going commitment to be a “good neighbor."  Since 2009, the first year we distributed grant monies, we have awarded over $250,000 in grants to twenty-three separate grant applicants (18 different charities). The Foundation Board is appreciative of the tremendous financial and emotional support displayed by the members of The Country Club at Muirfield Village and the Dublin community.
