Grant Criteria & Information

Grant Priorities

Funding priority will be given to organizations with requests that exhibit one or more of the following characteristics:

Supports the mission of TCCMV Foundation
Has 501(c)(3) IRS tax status, files an IRS form 990, and has a performance record (required)
Exhibits sustained and long-term benefits for one or more categories of children with special physical/cognitive needs
Has impact on reaching the greatest number of children with special needs
Demonstrates innovative approaches to assisting children with special needs and their families
Utilizes resources effectively and efficiently
Provides services that positively impact TCCMV families and/or the Dublin, Ohio, and surrounding communities in central Ohio without regard to specific religious affiliation
Receives recommendations from at least two TCCMV member families
Receives majority of funding from sources other than public, tax supported dollars

Grant Limitations

TCCMV Foundation grant funds may NOT be used for:

Staff salaries of organizations or charities
Supplanting existing funding; i.e., fund raising
Organizations with specific religious affiliations

Grant Guidelines

Projects must identify a specific period of time for services. Grants may be submitted on an annual basis for renewal.
Requests shall be submitted using The Country Club at Muirfield Village Foundation Grant Request form. Submit ten (10) copies of the request.
Grant awarding will be conducted according to IRS 501(c)(3) regulations.
Grant requests shall be project based.

Conditions of Grant Award

Project report: Grant recipients must submit a final report which includes project outcomes, evaluation results and financial expenditures to the TCCMV Foundation Board within thirty (30) days after completion of the project, and/or as prescribed in a grant approval letter.
